We use certified glasses SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative®),which indicates that the material used in its preparation comes from forests subject to environmental audit processes. Our cups can be processed in composting plants, and due to their thermal characteristics, they protect the consumer from burning their hands, thus eliminating the need for cardboard sleeves around the cup. We achieve that the complements of our products are friendly with the environment; We replace all our cardboard napkins and cup holders with 100% recycled material. We have the refill option in our CAFFENIO Drive, offering savings of up to 35% of the cost when ordering your drink, with this we help the planet to have a better future.

Since 2016 we have solar panels in our Production Plant located in Hermosillo-Sonora. The installed panels are photovoltaic and are made up of numerous cells that convert sunlight into electricity. Thanks to this generation, 70% of roasted coffee is produced using solar energy.
Since 2017 we have been members of the Northwest Energy Union, where 100% of the energy we consume is through Energy Cogeneration. This relationship allows greater efficiency in energy generation, in such a way that we consume fewer resources in the process, which is reflected in fewer polluting emissions.
Recycling is a simple, but useful, way of treating Mother Earth better, thereby improving the environment and therefore the quality of life of all of us who inhabit the planet. In 2018, with the paper, cardboard and wood recycling actions that we carried out, we contributed to improving the environment, which is equivalent to avoiding the felling of just over 3,600 trees, which produce oxygen for 14,400 people, ceasing to emit 377 tons of CO2.
At CAFFENIO we have within our reach viable solutions to have a more sustainable and more respectful activity with the environment. Concerned about the effects of CO2 worldwide, we carried out the emission control program in the vehicle fleet that consists of its replacement, vehicle maintenance, optimal route design and fuel control, resulting in savings of 11 thousand 195 liters of gasoline, avoiding the emission of 26 tons of CO2 in one year.
